John,

Like Mickey says, we'll try to squeeze in both of you tonight (Phinney/Eaton). I would enjoy previewing the HH band, Jimmy, good idea. Think they'd let us sit in for a couple of tunes?

Big thrill for me is Mickey's bringing along his Mullen G2 D-12, I can hardly wait to try that rig!

So Mickey and I just had energy and time for one joint, so we drove to Chatsworth to enjoy master picker Jimmy Eaton, who sounded great as always, and he did play his ext E9 Mullen in our honor. And we got to hang with his lovely better half, Cari, she's way cool.

Good to hear you pick perty, Mr. Eaton! I liked the band, too, I look forward to doing my best to fill your shoes next Saturday.

Here's a link to some nice snapshots:

Jimmy, I had a blast filling in for you last night, thanks for asking me to sub. The band does great straight-ahead material and were a joy to play with. My email marketing really worked, I had 13 people come to the club!
