We will be returning to the Hawthorne Theater Lounge next Friday November 26, which is the day after Thanksgiving. It's the latest in our series of Fourth Friday shows there and we will be playing material from our upcoming CD as well as some new tunes fresh outta Ron's brain that have yet to be revealed in public. Downbeat is at 6:00pm and we will play for at least a couple of hours until the music in the big hall next door gets too loud for us to ignore. By then us old folks will be ready to rest anyway....
Located on the SW corner of SE 39th and Hawthorne in Portland, Oregon, the Hawthorne Theater Lounge is a fun little place with comfy seating, full bar, no cover charge, friendly staff and most importantly, US (and that means you, too).
To hear some of the tunes or to learn more about Ron Rogers and the Wailing Wind check the website at http://www.myspace.com/ronrogerslax - hope to see some steel pickers there!
Ron Rogers, Songwriter, Lead Vocals and Guitar; Don "Jellybean" Campbell, BG Vocals and Bass, Dave "Slim Lovin" Grafe, Pedal Steel Guitar and Running Commentary; Chris "Double-Aught" Bond, Drums and Perpetual Smiles. |
