I just got my first lap steel delivered. it is a Ouhu tonemaster. How do I decide what strings and what tuning to use to learn? |

What kind of music do you like and what style(s) would you like to play? |

You can order strings right here on the forum. Thanks for the reminder. Need a few sets myself.
You'll probably want to try C6 tuning because there's a lot of C6 tablature available. Good way to get started.

Check the string chart under Lap Steel sets. You may want the E major, in that case. _________________ ...but you are the music / while the music lasts (TS Eliot) |
