'62 Supro Console 8 which I just aquired recently. Since it's a guitar and steel gig I thought I could get away with it and everything came off pretty well. I used the B6th tuning on it which would be (low to high) E G# B D# F# G# B D# ...... At one point I had to tune it to an E6th of sorts which I did by tuning the 1st string up to E and the 4th string down to E and the 5th string to C#. This was because we did a couple of George Morgan's type tunes and I wanted that "Little Roy" type sound. Also I had to do "Sleepwalk" and I learned that years ago on an open E six string tuning.

All in all, it was a nice experience and a lot less work setting up. I might even take it along on some "steel only" gigs for some specialty songs. The people really seem to like the lapsteel sound a lot. Here's a couple of "action" shots.....JH in Va.
