If you wanted to set up in the public park and just play your little heart out could you use a battery powered amplifier for a Carter s12 7x5?

I found this information -

No headroom, but a classic cheesy little amp:

Does anyone remember the Mike Matthews Freedom Amp from the early 70's? They ran on a bunch of D cell batteries and were pretty darn loud! Single 12" speaker as I recall. They are probably extinct by now.

I like the Vox DA5. Decent headroom, built in effects, and you can mix in a vocal mic if you want to.

I have a Traynor (I think 30 watt) that I can plug in overnight and play 6-8 hours next day,,I've never run the rechargeable battery down,,,great sound,,,no reverb,,I use a RV-3 with it. It is like new and I'll take $125 plus s/h for it.
