For sale is this beautiful Melelani Steel Guitar. Melelani is Hawaiian for heavenly music, and that is what you get when you play this instrument. Our design is based on the best features of vintage lap steels from the golden era. This instrument is handcrafted from Canarywood, a beautiful exotic hardwood from South America. It is a 22.5"scale, has hibiscus fret markers, amd a String-King bridge. The pickup is custom made for us by Jerry Wallace of True Tone pickups and has CTS pots and a NOS Cornell Dublier cap [same as Fender used in the 50's Teles]. It is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and will provide many years of enjoyment. These guitars are built in the USA on a very limited basis in the spirit of Aloha. It comes with a custom fitted padded travel bag.We feel these are some of the nicest lap steels available and everyone that has received them has been very pleased.
