Ron, I was glad to see Tommy Wilson's name on the list. He used to be a member of the Siloam club. I always enjoyed his playing. Hope you all have a great turn out.

We had a good time for our concert. The crowd of spectators was slow at first, but that is usual with folks getting out of Church. The Thanksgiving dinner was very good. Thank you ladies for all your work.
Each player did well for their skill level.
A special thanks to Wayne Morton and his wife for driving so far to share in our concert.
We also want to thank each of the other players also, but especially Gene Haugh for bringing in his band and performing for us to wrap up the concert. By the time the show came to an end, there were only 30 people there but we all had a good time throughout the day.
Thanks again to all.
I'm sure Ron will share some pictures soon.

I was at the jamb and it was a good turn out. A lot of non playing guest. I thank all of them for supporting the steel guitar. My personal opionion is that all performers should of only had three songs to perform for it became a long ordeal and many repeated songs. Most all of the guest were of the age that could not stay very late and some had other duties to take care of. They missed the best part of the evening with Wayne Morton and his wife Susie who had driven three hours to be with us, and Gene Haugh and company who also had a long drive, I thank them very much for they were just great. Keep on STEELING, J.R. Rose

If the guys could only play 3 songs, no one would come. You would barely get set up and it would be time to tear down. I know there are a few guys that are nervous don't want to play a full set, but that is their choice. Anyone that goes to a steel concert, knows you are going to hear several songs more than once. That's just part of the show. Sorry we couldn't make it this time. Hope to see you next time.

I know as well as anyone the hardwork and time involed setting up and tearing down, I done it for years, so given a three song set maybe is to little. I guess what I was trying to say is consideration maybe should of been giving to the very nice crowd that was their and get all performers on earlier so they could of heard everyone before they had to leave plus it is aways better to play to a larger crowd. Just my thoughts, not meaning to offend anyone, J.R. Rose

Some good points, we try to set it up each time so the ones that were on first this time will be on the lower side next concert. Some times its hard to do because some pickers have other places to play that night and some likes to go to church so we do what we can and do our best to make every one happy. I was very pleased to see all the guys there that did play and the crowd also. All in all we had a good time and we look forward to our next concert. Thanks to ALL...Ron
