It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act.

I have played the Christmas show at the Crystal Coast Jamboree for the past five years. We have done this number every show. I have only two melody sections to play along with two other guitars and a keyboardist. The rest of the time I only play drone lines on the first(F#)string and the fourth string pulled up in unison.
