WOW! This was the biggest steel guitar jam I've ever attended. There were twenty plus pedal steel guitarist from Arizona, Wyoming, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, California, and Canada attending. The event was emceed by Billy Easton and the music was under the direction of Frank Carter. This event was proof, the steel guitar is alive and well. The SWSGA Board Members deserve a big thank you for such a well organized event. Don't forget to make plans to attend the SWSGA Steel Guitar Show at the Grace Inn, Phoenix, Arizona, January 20, 21, 22, 2011.

Thanks for coming over Mr. Mike - we have had good turn outs before but I agree that might have been the biggest. On top of that I know of 6 or more that had intended to come and could not make it.

Yes, the Board had a meeting after the jam and the January show is shaping up to be bigger and better.

We are going to have most of the great players back and some new greats and several surprises.

C-ya

More planning but have a great list of players - looks like we will have a good group of alternates at this point - Billy says the schedule is full and still more wanting to play - WHAT A GREAT PROBLEM TO HAVE

Joe - regarding the January show, the title of this thread (stating January 13) is misleading is it not?
