The Crepe Place in Santa Cruz, on Soquel Drive, will be holding their 2nd monthly Steel Guitar Sunday show, this coming Sunday, from 7-10 PM...no cover! Come hear the "Blazing Steels".

I will be playing in the first set with Amee Chapman and her band, and then New York transplant singer/songwriter Carolyn Sills and her band will take the stage. Featured on steel with Carolyn will be local lap steel builder Colin Adler founder of Cruztone Steel Guitars!

Come early and grab a bite to eat, the food is great!!! Last month our show featuring Patti Maxine on steel, with her Saddle Pals band was a real barn burner... can't wait for the next show on Sunday.

I would mention that Carolyn is a fantastic singer and songwriter. Sings Patsy as well as anyone I have heard, but crosses over to some pretty impressive originals as well.

David, have fun, and please say hello to Carolyn for me.

A quick "bump" for tonight's show! It's snowing in Placerville this morning... I'll be gald to hop into my truck and drive out of it Smile

If you drop in... please do come up and say "Howdy"!

Kinda of a late reply on this one.... holidays got me Smile

Dave G., you would love these monthly steel events!

It was so great to meet, and listen to the maker of CruzTone Lap Steels, Colin Adler... and the great band he played with!!! These things are starting to become habit forming for me Smile
