I have an MSA s-12 (you can see it in my Avatar) that (other than after-mkt fretboard) looks just like this one that just sold on the Forum: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=193913

but that one is labeled "Classic" and mine is labeled "Semi-Classic" What is/are/were the difference(s) between the Classic and the Semi-Classic?

he biggest differences are cosmetic only. Sometimes they used the cheaper keys, and the endplates weren't polished, but were vapor-honed (satin finish). Also the endplates didn't have the 4 rows of holes for pedal tuning changes. The changer was the same though, so it's an easy conversion. I think a few were produced without the white cabinet binding, too.
