I just recently acquired, through trade, a Pre RP Mullen, probably a mid-90's guitar. I just want to say how easy this guitar plays compared to other guitars I've been fortunate enough to own. To say that it plays as smooth as butter, is an understatement. The sound of this guitar with an E-66 on E9th, and a PF-2 on C6th is superb....I hope someday to be able to afford to get a new G2.

Congrats Al, I love my pre-RP with George L 10-1 pups and I'm not even thinking of anything else. Someday maybe a G2.

Chris, are you hoping for a better guitar, or a better girlfriend???????

Hal, I know you will be really happy with your Mullen. They are great instruments. I couldn't wait until I could afford one, I just got it anyway.

MULLEN is a great guitar. I'm planning on buying one down the road. Of course, with you HH, it ain't the guitar! Folks, Hal Higgins is one of the best kept secrets in the steel guitar world. At our last MSP Steel Show, he got a standing ovation. The man can sing, play keyboards and is a great steelman. For those who are looking for a shining star to add to your steel shows, here he is, HAL HIGGINS. Louisiana is full of great steel players.
