I need to get my PS (GFI single neck,10 string, 3 & 4) from Seattle to Oahu, HI. It's fairly light for a PS and has a hard case but no locking clasps. Will it be OK to ship by UPS or should I try and check it at the airport/airline?

Thanks, Laurence (Turbo Dawg or T-Dawg)

I'd go to curbside check in.

Tip the Skycap who you call "Sir" at LEAST 10 bucks and tell him you need some help making sure you have a minimum of problems. He usually has the power to get TSA to do a spot check and seal it. Tell him you need to Tape it shut, and have a roll of duct or gorrilla tape handy.

I did that with a hundred pound SBD10 in an anvil case and I paid NOTHING for the frieght from Nvl to PDX and the TSA stuck a seal on it right on the spot. Of course this was out of Nvl 5 years ago.

Just a suggestion
