Dan -
Did you buff/polish top of the fretboard in lieu of standard jeweled effect?
This one has a polished look.

A great price on a good looking guitar. But there's no way an E66 could be original on a 76 model guitar.

Jim,
I've always loved the 12's but this guitar doesn't belong to me.

Bobby, your right, I was out in space when I said what I did. The guy that traded the guitar in didn't have the original. Vern worked the trade with a guy and he told him he didn't have the original.

Although an E66 was not original, Buddy Emmons designed it to get the sound that he wanted.
They still sound good on an Emmons guitar.
