I've been asked a lot what differences there are between the MK I model preamp and the Entry level preamp.
So here goes:

Features included on Entry level unit:

Preamp in jacks, front and rear
Preamp Gain control
Treble, Mid Frequency, Mid Level, Bass Level, Blend Controls
Master Gain
Headphone Level
Mute switch
Tuner output
Power switch (pop proof)
Main Output jacks Left and Right
EFX To
EFX From ( Left and Right)

Features missing on the Entry level unit from the MK I version:

No pedal insert jacks (To/From)
No input impedance control
The front panel has "compressor" LED labeled. It indicates soft clipping. There is no compressor function.
No balanced direct out.
No second Aux Input
No automatic Mono selection
No rear Tuner jack
Same great tone though!
