Listing this for a friend of mine, Bowie Martin. This is a beautiful guitar and of course you know that lacquer bodies are no longer available. This guitar sells for $5,300 new. It is a Legrande III on each neck. It also has humbucking pickups. Bowie is willing to part with this guitar for $4,250 plus shipping. Serious buyers email for more detail photos. The finish is excellent, there are some bar marks between the necks. 8 x 5.
Thanks
BIlly

Mike,
Congratulations!
Despite all the Emmons bashing there are still a few of us who appreciate the fine qualities of an Emmons!

Billy, could you somehow help me to find out what coloring was used on this guitar. I like the color and would like to know how to achieve it on a refinish. Any info would be appreciated. Mike, it looks like you scored well on this one. Smile

Mike, looks like you are getting a very nice and "drool worthy" Emmons.
Coming from Billy Knowles, you know it's going to be right.
Congrats and I love that honeyburst type finish. Walter

Jerry,
That was done in the very late 90s so I assume that Tim did the finish. I don't remember his last name but he did all of the Emmons bodies them.
It is a beautiful color.
Thanks

I was at Billy's last week when he was tweaking this guitar. It is truly a beauty and Billy is meticulous. He and I tore down the changer in my old Emmons for the first time in 22 years. It needed it!

Tim's last name is Carey, and he is a master cabinet maker. I think he is currently making amp cabinets for Evans.
