Thought I had is sold locally but the deal fell through, so here it is.
For sale or trade (really rather trade), a USA-made 1983 Peavey T-27 guitar w/OHSC. The guitar is in excellent condition with only a few very minor dings/scratches. I've posted a link to closeup photos showing them.
The scale length is 24 3/4". Fretwear is minimal. The maple neck is clean and smooth. It has a humbucker at the bridge that transitions to single-coil mode from about 7 and up on the rear tone knob. The middle and neck pickups are single-coil. The other knobs are tone and volume. The pickup switch is 5-way.
Sound-wise, it's fenderish because of the pickup arrangement, but not exactly the same.
The pickguard shows expected pick marks for a guitar that's been played. It's currently strung with 10-46 strings. It weighs 8 lbs according to my scales. The case is solid and the lining is still intact.
Check out the feedback on Harmony-Central for more info on these guitars.
Thanks for looking!

Roy Nichols played one of those in Haggard's band. I wouldn't sell it either. They sound great. |
