In the interest of presenting an easy to understand approach to my tuning methods I am starting all of these videos from a beginner level. However, any player at any level who is adopting my tuning methods will find these useful.
In this first lesson I start by showing what all we will use in the beginning series. Explanation of the 3 basic pedals and the 4 knee levers. If you need a full copedent please email me. I also give a basic exercise on the end of this lesson to work on speed. This same exercise was given to me by Zane Beck on the 2nd week of my lessons.

In lesson two we begin by covering a brief overview of the 12 strings as opposed to 10 strings. Then I go fairly deep into explaining all of the 5 major triads (grips) and present some basic exercises so you can master them.

It's a tough balance on these beginner level videos because I have two different levels of beginners. The most common I think are those that are beginning with my tuning. The second group are those who are learning for the first time. That said, some of the material will be slow for some. Yet all will need to cover these items even if it is very basic and easy to move through. In about a month or so I will start a separate set of videos for advanced levels.
Already people are wondering why I'm giving away all of this info. It's because I believe in what I'm doing for the steel guitar community. Its a contribution that I hope is sustainable and valued. I'm sure the rewards will come along the way. They always have.
Stay tuned,
