I will be playing with a classic rock band on Tuesday, October 12, at 7:30 PM. And the Highland Park Ebell Club, 131 S Ave, 57, in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles, (not far from where we hold the annual steel jam.) The music will be mostly classic rock, with a few blues tunes and an occasional country song. I expect to use my fuzz box quite a bit.

This is a fund-raiser for Democratic Party candidate Jerry Brown for Governor. Admission is $15.00. All proceeds go to the campaign. All the musicians are donating their time and talents.

There are people here who are members of both parties, and since this is a political event, there will be some among us who want to comment about that. That’s not what this notice is about. I’m not trying to convert anybody here to my point of view. This is just an invitation to come and hear me play.

Therefore I ask everybody from both parties to honor both b0b’s and my wishes as well as the rules of this forum and refrain from making any political statements of any sort, either pro or con. b0b has seen this notice prior to my posting it, and has given his permission for me to do so, but he will be monitoring this thread carefully and will shut it down if anybody makes any political statements.

Please E-mail me if you need driving directions.

I don't know the answer to that Jim, but in 1965, before the Stone Ponies was formed and she was just another singer with dreams of stardom, she was dating one of my roommates, and I once walked in on them at a most inappropriate time.

Being a gentleman, I will not elaborate on what I saw.

Being a "Gentleman" you wouldn't have mentioned it at all! Oh Well
