I am going to be in Nashville this Monday (10/4/2010) and it looks like the Time Jumpers will be playing as usual at the Station Inn. My question is how early do you need to be there to be sure to get in and get a decent seat? Thanks in advance....

Last march I was there at 6:45 PM and there were three people in line in front of me. And they wanted to sit in front of Paul. By 7:30 the place was full.

However, the Pizza is not bad. So you can grab a bite to pass the time.

I was there three weeks ago. I arrived at 5pm and there were 8 people in line. By the time I parked there were 12 in line. Had a great time talking to people in line for two hours. Paul set up on the right side as you face the stage, in front of the second row of tables from the concessions. The first table was reserved for band members. I had a ringside seat thanks to one of the people I met in line who saved me a front row seat.

I had the fortune to see them this summer at Lincoln Center in New York, though I'd post this picture. Enjoy the show!

Ive been twice in the last two months and the first time I got there was 7:00 and didn't have a problem getting a seat. Second time I got there at 7:30 couldn't hardly find a seat. I'd say 7:00 or earlier.

Be sure to say hi to Paul and tell him you are a Forum member. Also, if you happen to be a member of the TDPRI Telecaster forum say hi to Andy as well ...

Our last visit we arrived at around 7ish ( pre Vince ) and the only seats available were at stage end of the bar..which of course became very convenient when refills were in order ! This $15 show ( I think thats what it is ) is maybe the best value in America right now ! Laughing Plus you never know who you are going to run into in the room... enjoy

Thanks for all the replies. My wife and I are on a trip right now and should end up in Nashville on Monday in plenty of time to get there by 6:00. I am really looking forward to seeing Paul (and everyone else) play! I will post my experience as well for others who plan to see the show in the near future.

The line was long before Vince ever became a part of the show.. Its well worth standing in line though !

I was there a couple of times and I am with Tony.
These 15 bucks are the best value in town. The Monday after St. Louis I got there at 6.45pm and there was a line of maybe 30-35 people but luckely I got in and choose a place at the bar. Not to bad Wink.
And - like Tony mentioned - you will never know who shows up. I 've seen Ricky Skaggs, Rodney Crowell and Mel Tilles besides some others who's name I 've forgotten (sorry!!)
When I am visiting Nashville I am always trying to include a Monday.
Have a great time!!Smile Smile
Cheers,
Manfred

My wife and I got there at 5:50 and here were 9 people waiting. One girl had been there since 3:45! It was well worth the wait. Vince Gill did "Buttermilk John" and Paul's break was over the top great. Vince Gill even leaned over and said "good one". Wow. What a night!
