Yep, a ZB with Sho~Bud fretboards. It's on my local Craigs list.
10 pedals, but only 1 knee lever, with case.
What the going rate nowadays?

The Shobud fret-board is likely a practical solution to addressing an aesthetic aberration. If there's any one thing that gets dinged on a PSG it's the fret-board.
I think I've replaced the fret board on every pedal steel I've owned - some twice. I was fortunate in that they were all still in production and available. That's my guess anyway.
Very nice - has more of a musical instrument look than the typical counter-top look...heh..heh.
How's it sound?

Jay,
I saw that rascal. Beautiful guitar but the lack
of knee levers limits the value. I would value it around $1200 maybe if it all works well. Mr. Hatton
out in Buffalo could probably add knee levers. Probably pretty heavy too. The older I get, the less I like heavy...

You might try Jerry Fessenden for limited ZB parts like a knee lever. I know at one time he owned a similar guitar. His PM is likely listed in the members list, or try his web-site.

Jay, that appears to be a Zane built 60's model. If you can get a serial number, I can possibly get an invoice date. Also, I have the original style cast knee levers and fretboards for this guitar if you would need them.

Actually, the ZB is located about 100 miles from here.
He's also asking a bit too much for it though ($1750).

if you're a flat out, obsessive zb lover, that's probably fair. but practicably, that's alot of headachy work with only one knee to start with.
nice looking though.
