Howard,

I will do this to help you dear man.

I will send you a check for $2650.00 on Monday. You KEEP the guitar and KEEP it for sale on this thread. Please post (Or email) your mailing address. I would appreciate it, if you would put it in the case and store it well for safe keeping.

Also would you please put the pictures back on this thread. And take that $2500.00 off of there. That guitar is worth more than that! If you can, please take several pictures of the underbody as well. Prospective buyers like pictures! The more and the clearer, the better.

If someone wants to buy it, tell them to send the money to me, and then when I receive the money, I will ask you to ship it to them (contiguous united states). Then, when you know what the shipping cost is, I will send you a check for that.

If it takes a day, a month, a year or never, to sell, I do not care, I just want to help you with your dilemma, and I pray this will help you keep your home.

Also, I will donate the money to the forum, so that you can use the full $2650 for whatever you need. I will send b0b a check for $100.00 on Monday also.

If per chance the guitar does not sell, and things get better for you; and you find you want that guitar; and/or felt sorry you had to put it up for sale; then you will have your guitar and you can return the money. But if that does not happen, don't sweat it.

And may Jesus richly bless you and heal your pain brother.

In Christ,

c.

Note: The guitar is still for sale for $2650.00 and includes shipping cost anywhere in the contiguous United States.

This Emmons (as all Emmons) continue to appreciate, unlike most other PSG's. Remember that. Times are hard right now, but when they get better, these guitar are going to skyrocket, especially if Emmons Guitar Co. goes belly up.

Don't find yourself saying, "OH iF I had only bought that guitar at that price!!" Sad

What an absolutely wonderful Christian thing to do Mr.
C. Dixon.
May God Bless you richly for offering to help Howard in such a generous manner.
The folks that would offer to do that these days are certainly few and far between and more so than that, actually, just unheard of.
You most certainly must be one of a kind and deserving of a "Hats off" from all of us on the forum.
You certainly have one from me.

Yes Carl my friend. You are the best.Very Happy This guitar should make someone very happy.

I do feel I need to clarify that I've never owned or even seen this guitar. From the serial # it is a true LII. Not a late Lashley LeGrande. My guess on the date is 93ish. But, be it a 92 or 99. Makes no difference. The same guitar. Only condition matters here.

I want to share this story with others I shared with Mr Dixon He is truly what being a Christian is all about. I got cancer in 2003,I lost my home in the country after I refinanced it,the mortgage company almost doubled our payments,We had over 80K equity in it. My Mother had a house my youngest brother lived in for 11 years the home I was raised in,He passed away in October of 2006,My home in the country was foredlosed on in Feb of 2007 during a blizzard here in Indiana I had to move it was 4 below zero that saturday in feb,My Mother offered me this house for fixing it up which I done, After I got it fixed up her husband (she married less than 2 months after my Father died),Decided since it was fixed it was now worth a few hundred a month,I had spent every dime I has fixing it,She went to a lawyer and demanded we pay rent, remember my brother tore the place up and paid nada, She agreed to sell it to me for 10K I'm not able to build transmissions because of my health anymore so I sold my large tool box and some of my shop equipment, We have about half the money this will put us to about 3/4 of the money,My Mother is a greedy person,She sold 2 houses,My fathers seamless gutter business, gotten 2 LARGE Insurance policies,She banked her SSI Check of about 700.00 monthly for over 10 years. I was got out of the hospital last week,I called her on Monday Her first words to me were "When are you going to PAY ME" for the House,I have a Prosate biopsy in 2 weeks, My Mother knew how Much my steel meant to me I'm a musician, I thank everyone especially Mr Dixon for his kind gesture,My Wife is the only one working and herself is not in very good health. My Mother claims to be a Christian Actions speak louder than words, Thanks to all you Guys some of the greatest guys I have ever met period I appreciate the support!.

Bill,

I sure like to hear of those that turn and help others as these are and their profession of being a Christian. I will do a smaller thing as Mr Dixon has with the same things implyed. I don't think that I will evr need to express how I feel about this forum extending their hearts to a brother in need. I will add you to the prayer list at my Church tomorrow.

I will now wish all to be well and that God hold you in the palm of His till the storm is over.

God bless you and yours and I also wish for God to bless your mother and all. Hoping that He will touch her and help her to see His way and act accordingly.

Thanks to all for helping this brother and I wish for God's blessings for you all,

Ron

When I called my mother last monday I thought she was going to ask how I was,Her first words to me were asking when She was going to get money for the house,I told her I was trying to sell things to pay her, When a person I never met offers to help it overwhelmed me,My Wife and I are very hard workers and have never ask anyone for anything,My deteriorating health kills my spirit, having to sell the very things I earned my living with hurt my feelings really bad,on top of that having to sell my Steel was also very hard for me. When I told Mr Carl Dixon what happened His Christian principles came to life. When I thanked him in a personal message,I could barley write because of emotion. I feel sorry for anyone who lets greed rule their life,it seems to abound in these days.Again Thank You Mr Dixon My Wife and I appreciate it more than our words can express:) Smile Bill and Jill Howard

How would you like to own a beautiful Emmons Lashley LeGrande II,D-10, with 8 X 4.

Don't miss out on this opportunity. It is only $2650.00.

And guess what?

That includes shipping to your home or place of business, and NO charge to you. It is sitting in its case for safe keeping. Scroll up and see it for yourselves, when it was not in its case.

Better think it over dear players.

In any case, may Jesus bless you always,

c.
