Connie Smith will be playing at Midwest Country Theatre in Sandstone MN this Sat. the 25th, shows at 3pm & 7pm. I haven't seen her live in about 35yrs. I will get the chance now. I was invited to play with Larry Rose, Kevin Lange and the crew. We will back Sharon Lee and Jim Barnes. We are opening for Connie. Anyone know who is playing steel for her at the moment? Will be a GREAT time for sure!

 Yes Gary does play for her!!!! WOW, I am lost for words!!! What a "smokin" 4 pc band she has!!!! And her singing is SUPERB!!!!!!!! Garys volume pedal was acting up (but no one could tell) so Larry Rose let him use one of his pedals but they had to invent a quick way to make it stay put so they used this shoe string to tie it on!!!!
He said to go ahead and put the picture on the forum! He said his main guitar is a Zum and this Derby is his road guitar and that he had not played it in a few weeks.
