This is a beauty and is in great condition. It is black mica with a metal neck This is the guitar that I have been playing regularly on all my gigs for a few years. Rebecca at Emmons said it was a 1974 model, based on the serial number.
It has a Jerry Wallace True Tone pickup, but I have the original Emmons pickup, which is included, if you want to swap them out. It has 1 inch leg and pedal rod extenders. These just screw on the ends of the rods, so it is a quick and simple matter to change it back to standard height. It has all brand new tuning keys plus 6 brand new extra ones. There are 3 pedals on the floor and 4 knee levers.
I played this guitar on a gig last week end,so it is band stand ready with no issues. Just really nice guitar that I thought I would never, ever sell. $2500.00, plus shipping. Let me know if you want me to e-mail you a photo.
Never say never. These guitars are very rare. It took
me 3 years to find this one. i have always said that I will play this guitar until I die and will never sell it. Well, my circumstances have changed in the last week. I fell into a deal on a double neck that I couldn't refuse. In 40 years of playing, I have never had any inclination to play C-6th. But, after toying around with the C-6 on this guitar, I am fired up to learn C-6 now. Plus, I really like the way this guitar sounds and plays. I had to borrow the money from a friend to buy the guitar. Now, he wants me to repay him ASAP. So, I need to move the SD-12 pronto.
I can take Pay Pal, Master Card, Visa, Discover, Cashier's Check, or money order.
