Hi Buck
I did just this with a NV400 amp into a NV112 cabinet.
I did have to trim the chassis of the NV400 amp.and move
the power transformer about an inch so it would fit
around the 12" blue marvel speaker.
It was a close fit, but it did fit
All & all, it made a great little amp.
I think I still have this amp here somewhere. I could post a Pic of it if you would like to see? _________________ steelguitarguy.com |

Thanks a lot. It looks like that would be a great amp . and try one of the light weight speakers in it . I have a 112 and I would like 150 watts of power in it . Thanks so much for your info,,, Buck _________________ Music to light up your life |

No problem there Buck,,
I got to looking around the music room for this amp & remembered I pulled the NV400 chassis out & sold it last year.
I do build some custom cabinets. I built a custom cabinet for a NV112 chassis & a BW15" speaker.
The NV112 through a BW15" sounds great to me
I need to sell this amp,,,Im amp poor
I went to a TC Furlong 12" closed back amp & have never looked back light weight & clean power to spare,,,up to 500 watts _________________ steelguitarguy.com |

Special 150, Special 130, LA400 and there are a few more. You can also get a 15" to 12" reducing ring from Mojotone and use your existing cabinet |

Thanks for the great response. To get the reducing ring and use a light weight 12" speaker then mod the amp should be the way to go I think. Buck _________________ Music to light up your life |

I can do the full mod for you Buck and supply a 12" SICA in 4 ohms for it. I have the rings for them made by JD Newell. The SICA hole spacing is slightly further apart than the American standard. Newell has done 2 for me and they were great! |

Ken , If I decide to go ahead and do it ,You will surely be the one to do it. My profex11 that you modded in Nashville sounds wonderful. Thank you so much... Buck _________________ Music to light up your life |
