I'm looking for a Ricky B8 eight string bakelite lap steel, I'll consider pre-war and post-war (was there a post-war version?). It needs to be a piece that sounds great, not necessarily a museum item. It'll be my daily driver if it's the right instrument.

Sorry I don't have anything for sale. I would like to confirm that eight string bakelites were produced after world war two. Mine has a shield shaped logo, through the body stringing, and a bolt on bridge.
