I'll be visiting Lubbock from December 24-29. If any of you will be playing steel there, or know someone who will be, please let me know at alcottrichman@earthlink.net. Thanks.

Hey Steve, You missed some bad wind storm, I wonder if Fat Dawgs is still there. I haven't been to The Hub City since '83. Say hello for me

Steve, you don't need to make that trip. Lubbock "blew away" yesterday, or at least got covered up by the sand storm.

I'll be interested in what you get back on this. My guess is that something going on over at South Plains College or down at the Cactus Theater on Buddy Holly avenue would be the best bet.

I'll be headed that way myself on Saturday. We always get back at Christmas time since 5/7 of my grandchildren live there. I am hopping it got all that 40 Mph wind out of its system yesterday. We left Lubbock in 1990 after being there for 26 years and while we get wind in Wichita I have to go back to the high plains to remember what a 'dust' storm is like. My daughter tells me it was really wicked yesterday.

I don't think fat dogs is there anymore, but there is always something going on down on B H avenue.
