Tommorrow night I'll be joining the cast for the annual Classic Country Night at the Onley Place in Belvedere, NC..... It's a dinner theater that features different acts from time to time....
The catered dinner is at 6:00 PM with the show to follow at 7:00... If you've ever listened to "A Prarie Home Companion" radio show on PBS then you've got the gist of this show. It's like an old timey radio show, with their regular cast members, fake commercials and all. This is the third year I've done it at it's a total blast.
The Classic Country Band for the show will be Tee Meroney on vocals and guitar, Garland Abbott III on bass & vocals, myself on lead guitar, mandolin & pedal steel, and the notorious Lonnie Godfrey on drums. Here's a shot of ol' Tee taken a couple of weeks ago at the VCMA Picnic......JH in Va.
