Jimmy, you more than likely have a ZB that was built in Texas between 78' and 85'. When Tom Brumley took sole ownership, he moved the company from Phoenix to Texas. It was in Texas that they cut the tailfins off the keyheads and tail peices. These were called the new "custom" model. They still built ZB's with the fins but called them the "Legend" series. They are still 24" scale, just a shortened down body. There are a few of them around but most people dont want to get rid of them!!!!

Jimmy - you lucky devil. I saw the guitar on eBay and it looks an absolute beauty. I will be first in the queue if you come to sell it.

Hallo Jim,
It is quite possible that you have the ZB that
Eric Snowball had especially made for himself to
the same spec as Tom Brumley. I remember seeing it
in the shop at Maidstone when I was on one of my visits, perhaps Ken can confirm it,I have the original
order for it and the invoice for it, if you want I'll
email you a copy of each.
All the best
Frank. Corfu
