Just wanted to take a bit to publicly thank the Peavey Service Dept. and especially Mr. Mike Brown for the recent repairs to my LTD 400. I sent it down the week before labor day weekend, Mike PM'd me to let me know there might be a delay, because they were backed up almost a month. I wasn't in any special hurry, but wasn't prepared to get a call from them on Wednesday of last week with estimate. I OK'd the costs, received my amp back last Friday. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have NEVER had a bad experience with the Peavey service department. Maybe part of it due to Mike Brown being one of us forumites, but DANG! That was fast & unexpected, after his telling me to be patient. Also, every concern I had with the amp was addressed completely. Costs were very reasonable too! I had previously had the Ken Fox Mod done, but the unit still needed a little more TLC. This thing sounds SWEET!! I can see my NV112 gathering a little more dust, now. Thanks again, Mike and Kudos to all the Peavey Service Department guys!!!! Roger Dillingham |

Hello Roger,
I couldn't agree more that the Peavy crew are not only good at what they do, but are some of the nicest down to earth folks ever. Pretty good for a vast international company. I've had two KB300s in and out of their shop over the years for this and that (stuff happens!) and have been delighted with not just the work done, but the prevailing attitude in general. Most recently I've dealt with Shirley regarding a hard to find accessory and she not only researched and found it, but emailed me when it came out of back order. Not to mention everything they build is here for the duration. I like that. _________________ Sister Alexa>SX Lap Pro>Rocktron Surf Tremolo>Pignose 7-100.

They beat Fender hands down. Fender should make products that are as reliable with good customer service. Peavey has excellent customer service and makes reliable products. |

Good service yes preventative information no.
You'd think though after sending your tubefex in for the forth time over a five year period to get it fixed after it crapped all the way that they would have mentioned that there was a problem with the batteries leaking. They only mentioned it the the last time because the circit board was eat up with batterie acid and they wanted to let me know that they would fix it but they wouldn't guaranty it. You'd have thought the second time I sent it in after it quit working that they would have made me aware that I needed to keep checking the batteries for leakage and not wait till it quit and did unrepairable harm to the unit.
I guess they were too occupied thinking about my health. One time the unit was sent in with an adapter plug still on the power chord a they left a little note in the return package informing me that that was dangerous. |

Peavey has treated me very well. I just called the regular repair number and sent in my Nash 400 and they fixed it up better than new. I got it back in no time and the repair costs were minimal. This was an old and very used amp in the first place. Its been trouble free and helping me pay my bills for the last 6 years. _________________ Bob |
