I grew up in Cranford, NJ (Class of '81), Union County (pronounced "Onion". right?! Very Happy ).
Robert bought his first steel at Cranford Music (...of all places to find a Steel).
Thanks for the Union County link!

I would love to see Robert live. I checked out a bunch of his videos last night. Even downloaded his new CD from Itunes. This is great music.

I will be there also, Robert is great, also am looking forward to Nils Lofgren's set.

Pete, I live on Westfield, been here 45 years. Cranford Music is still around, but now they are in Garwood on North Ave.

'Onion' is correct, as in Onion College, or USC, (University of Southern Cranford), and UCLA, (Union Counties Last Alternative). Just kidding it is a fine school.

It was worth a few drops of rain, the band was great. What kind of guitar was that red lap he used?

We also used to call Garwood "Doowrag"! (Garwood backwards) Smile

Pete, Yes, we still use that term Doowrag.

Was at the show tonight, very good, Robert seemed to enjoy being in front of his hometown crowd, well attended too despite the rainy weather. We need the rain though.
Also saw Nils Lofgren earlier in the day, also a good performance.

Robert is quite the showman and singer and really brings the steel guitar out front to an apreciative crowd.
