I am assuming that the company went under and sold off its inventory of parts and milling equipment at auction. It seemed like the new owner had his prices too expensive,in my opinion.I play an 84 D10 Crown,it is heavy and built like a tank, but is well built and sounds sweet.
I bought it at the factory used,so it was probably one of the last to go out from the factory.I got a lot of small parts from Tom before they went belly up....I just had one of those gut feelings...get the parts that will wear out while you still can.Seems like they had been thare for about 30 years or so?Perhaps there are some members who could keep everyone else informed about any new developments with starting this manufacturer up into production again,or who has all the parts for all the guitars....I am sure I am not alone in wanting to put that LKR on my C6.
