In this age of reading about deals gone bad, people misrepresenting, soured business relationships etc etc, I wish to bring to your attention the brighter side of the coin.

Back in July, I ordered 3 sets of strings from Mike Headrick, through his 3-sets of SIT's offer.

I had ordered E9th sets. By some fluke, or maybe due to impaired vision (Mike told me he had had a recent eye operation) he sent me 3 sets of C6th instead.
I notified Mike of the error. Mike's offer to me was that I return the C6's to him and he sent me 4 sets of E9th, the 4th set was to cover the postage I had to lay out. He mailed me these strings instantly, trusting that I would return the other ones. The fourth set more than covered for the postage.

Not a big deal some would say. We might also say "nothing more than what should be expected"
I choose to look at it a bit differently. It was a huge deal for me. It established an instant trusting relationship between a business person and his customer.

Mike, thanks once more for your excellent treatment.

Folks I want to recommend Mike to you all in the warmest way possible!
with respect

I concur and endorse the statement Mike is one super guy, notwithstanding he's one of the top players, with a great sense of humor. We worked together on mastering a CD, printing a cover, and burning several hundred...all at a very, very reasonable price. If any of you folks need CD's made, I would highly recommend Mike.

Hi Bent
I echo all your positive remarks about Mike. A great guy to deal with and as upright as the day is long.
Five stars. *****

I too agree with all they wonderful comments about Mike. He's one of the best musicians out there and a great friend. I've never met a more humble person and he gives the great Man upstairs all the Glory.

Bent, thank you very much for your kind words made public by this post. You are also deserving of honor for your honesty and patience in the matter,

Thanks also to Marlin, Chuck & Barry. You've all been blessings to me.

I look forward to playing the festival in Ireland. I'm told the band is outstanding and the audience receptive to country music and E9th. That's at least a good match for what I do.

The clock is ticking, so I'll see you guys there soon.
