Yesterday Jean and I spent the day with Gary, after he called me on monday and
told me it was about finished. I ordered it in January, but he was so busy and said that
I'd have to wait for quite a while. So I bought another one that he had in stock,
and I loved it. Gary knows of my problems and has worked with me thru the
entire process, to make sure I would have the perfect guitar when he was done.
We made so many calls to each other, I thought he'd be tired of me by now, but the
truth is, he's become more like a brother. I never thought that I could ever have a steel
built exactly to my specs. and colors, and have it be so perfect to fit my needs.
Gary, even put some of his fantastic lics on it, I just hope I can find some of them.
Gary, we love you and Tina. Your the best. Thanks for a "MASTER PIECE" We love it.

Hi again Larry. Thanks, Jean said it was the only thing I get this year.
It's for fathers day, our anniversary, my birthday and Christmas all in one.
WOW! I love this, and now I've got to start getting more time to practice.
And yes I'll have it in St. Louis. I want to show it off. See you Friday. Smile Smile

Bill, thanks my friend. It's truley a beauty, and Gary is a perfectionist.
He made it exactly like I wanted, and it plays easy and really sounds good.

Dustin, you sure got a beauty too. I like your choice of apron color,
with the black top and pad. That is very pretty and sure is appealing.
I'm sure you had a great great time last night, and played your best.

Hi Andy, the wait is always too long, but you get quality & perfection.
Gary hand builds these, and everything must be absolutly perfect and
played by him, before it leaves his shop. (And he can play very good.)
When you get it, you're going to love everything about it for sure.

Thanks CrowBear, I love both of mine, but I like this one the best.
Probably because he made it exactly the way I wanted, and I love bright
colors on a steel. To me they look and sound a lot better than a black one,
and I think they make me play better, may be my old age & imagination. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hi Brad, Mickey, Chris and Stu.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. I really love it.
Yes I had the Alumitone Pickup put on, because the 705
is too bright for my ears, and I think the Alumitone has a
better separation between the strings, and softer sound.

Carl,
That is one Beautiful Axe. Looks like Gary might have outdone himself on this one. Hope you get Many Years of enjoyment out of it. Post us a little clip when you can. I'd sure like to hear it.

This guitar is not only beautiful, but sounds great. Carl played it in the Derby room in St. Louis, and I was very impressed. Carl is a great smooth and tasteful player, and also my VERY GOOD friend. Larry B
