This is a thank you to Joe Long, who listed an Emmons LeGrande III last month on this forum.

I bought this guitar from Joe. And a nicer person would truly be hard to find. He was very concerned about the guitar being shipped; because of possible damage.

Sure enough Fedex damaged the case. But ironically they sent me a check for a brand new case AND they also refunded the entire shipping costs, even though I never mentioned that part in the claim. Praise Jesus.

It was a pleasure Joe to do business with you. And this guitar has THE best sound of ANY guitar I have EVER owned. I just love the sound. Tommy Dodd played it last night, and remarked about the good sound. Made me a very proud owner.

If it was a 12 string (Double body with pad), with everything else being equal (except for more holes in the changer fingers), it would be to me, probably THE perfect PSG.

Plus, it is truly gorgeous. It looks brand new with the lone exception of a tiny scratch on the E9th fret board, where Joe accidently dropped his bar.

All the alulminum parts have a sheen that just sparkles.

Here are several other pictures of it.

Thanks again dear friend, and may Jesus bless you for your kindness Joe.

Yes Carl. Now that Chet Atkins is gone, the term "Country Gentleman" should be given to you. You are a class act. Smile
