Roy,
The great jazz drummer, Louis Bellson, is also on that cd. We flew him in from L.A. and he did lay down the rhythm. Henry Strylecki was on bass and Johnny Gore on sax. 'It's The First Time' can be ordered on Ebay or directly from us for $17.00 which includes shipping. Send check or money order to Dab, P.O. Box 211, Franklin, In. 46131. It costs a few dollars more through Ebay. Thanks, Dave |

This album is a classic as I bought it on record when it originally was released back in the seventies and I ran into Dave Burley at a show in MI a couple of weeks ago and bought it now on CD. Dave also has two other CDs that are also excellent. One is Curly Chalker and Julian Tharpe and the 3rd one is Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Bryant. I highly recommend all three of these as I personally like hearing live situations like this that are completely spontaneous.
