Bob was such a good friend to so many beginner steel players in this area, it is hard to express how much we will miss him. I am glad to know he is no longer in any pain, an now he can rest. Thanks Bob for all you have done for the Steel guitar, an all the friends you made along the way.

I knew this was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier. You (Duane) and Bob introduced me to the steel guitar close to 25 years ago. It was always wonderful just to sit and listen to Bob play and know what was possible with the steel guitar. I'm really going to miss him, but know he's in a better place now.

So sorry to hear of Bobs passing -
He was a friend since the '70's, a
great player, and helpful to so
many other players in the area.
May God keep Bob, and be
with his family.
~Russ

Thanks Russ for puting this on the forum, I was there for the wake the night before there was many steel players there an lots of musicans that Bob had played with through out the years. We could have had a hell of a jam that night, an Bob would have like that. We will miss this old friend.
