I see that the frets are outlined in white. Must be just before WW II. The body is a string-through I see.

$490 bucks plus shipping is not a great price for the two bakelite pieces, considering all the other parts needed.

But if somebody had the stuff ready to pop on, it would be OTAY! It's not often you find either seperate.
