Last night, I tried a few times sendine email from my yahoo address to my verizon. It didn't bounce back yet it didn't arrive. I thought it was just a glitch so I tried again this AM and again it didn't arrive. I don't have any blocks on the verizon that I know of. I sent a test from verizon and was able to reply.

Ron;
Please tell us what email client you are using to send and receive email. This info is required before anybody can help you figure out what is going wrong. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

Are you a Yahoo! Plus subscriber? If so, you need to use high SSL ports for incoming and outgoing mail. Verizon blocks port 25, as do most ISPs.
If you are not a Yahoo Plus subscriber, you're not entitled to use a POP email client for Yahoo mail. There are freeware workarounds that work for a while, then get disabled when Yahoo purposely changes something on their end. I have not been able to send Yahoo email with a POP3 email client for almost two years now, since YPOPs was abandoned by its maintainers. FreePOPs works sometimes and doesn't at other times. When it does work, it only receives email. It cannot send mail. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
