Is there a pre-set in the ProFex II to get the "strings/violin" effect?
Your help will greatly appreciated!!!

I don't know about the pro-fex, but Jeff Newman said one way is to use distortion and play the 1st and 4th strings (with the C pedal) together and slant the bar just a hair so they are only 99% in tune with each other.
That never worked for me, but maybe I didn't set the distortion right. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

Mike,I agree with you however in about 1972 I saw Linda Ronstadt at Carnegie Hall with Sneaky Pete on steel and they played "Heart Like a Wheel" Pete did the cello parts and it was awesome. _________________ Steeltronics Z-pickup,Desert Rose S-10 4+5,Desert Rose Keyless S-10 3+5...
