I just uploaded a new set of Buckarooster videos to YouTube. I have a killer new stereo ribbon mike from Pacific Pro Audio which is great for live recording (this was into my Zoom H4n). The video sucks as always, but the audio isn't bad.

New videos of Dan Tyack and Dave Harmonson with the Buckaroosters

Beautiful playing as always, Dan. The audio IS really good. I hope you and Dave and your families have a happy holiday season! and I hope I see more of both of you in the new year.

I'm pretty sure the reason you can't really see much of me in these videos is my stellar buff bod and amazing good looks would be a distraction from the music. Right, Dan?
It's been a blast filling in for Dave Keenan the last several Buckaroosters gigs and always a pleasure sharing the stage with Dan.
Now, Dan you need to take a break so I can fill the steel posistion a time or two. Smile
Merry Christmas to all.

That's right, Dave, we wouldn't want to distract the viewers. (Actually, I didn't bring the good camera...)

Aside from being an excellent steel player, Dave Harmonson is a jaw-dropping Tele picker.

I was fortunate enough to play a few gigs on steel, while he was gearing up a B-Bender back around 1979......he sounded more like Mooney than I did. Quite intimidating as I recall. Embarassed

Thanks, Tony. Been playing a G & L ASAT without B-bender for the last couple of years. Still got a bender but I kind of like going without these days, and the ASAT is simply a better guitar than my Tele. Been pondering having one installed, but so far have been content to leave well enough alone.
Honest I wasn't trying to intimidate. Smile

Dave's G&L is a killer soundings guitar, especially through one of his small tube amps. He's always a delight to play with!
