Doug Beaumier's tabs and cd for C6 and Cindy Cashdollar's dvds have been my two favorites. Also, Don Helm's Hank Williams arrangements. _________________ ...but you are the music / while the music lasts (TS Eliot) |

If you want to work on bar slants and palm harmonics I would highly recommend the Jerry Byrd course available from Scotty's. The Don Helms and Little Roy Wiggins books available on the forum are great. |

For an 8 string lap steel, I would highly recommend the Jeff Newman and Buddy Emmons material for C6 pedal steel if you haven't already digested that material. You'll find that 8 string tuning with the chromatic D on top extremely useful. After alot of experimentation, I have found it's the 8 string tuning for me. _________________ Amor vincit omnia |
