I have been looking for one of these for sometime and waited for the right one to come along. When I opened the case and saw how pristine the underside of the aprons looked my search was over. The original owner sold it to me and a heck of a nice guy. He only played it 4 years and it sat in the case after that. I have never seen a unrestored steel with the changer springs that still look new.
He bought it new in Baker Oregon in the early 80's at a music store there. The owner of the store played with the band "Canned Heat" some of you will remember them. I also got a mint Sessions 500 which I really didn't need. Anyway, I parked my Emmons SKH for a while to twang on this and just wanted you all to see it. Even the case is mint. does anyone know when they started spraying the underside black? Serial number is 18085.

David, that's a beauty and shows absolutely no signs of fading. I'll bet she sounds awesome too. |

It almost looks like it's been "Cooped"! Score! _________________ The steel guitar is a hard mistress. She will obsess you, bemuse and bewitch you. She will dash your hopes on what seems to be whim, only to tease you into renewing the relationship once more so she can do it to you all over again...and yet, if you somehow manage to touch her in that certain magic way, she will yield up a sound which has so much soul, raw emotion and heartfelt depth to it that she will pierce you to the very core of your being. |

What a beautiful 'Bud, David, the underside hardware is exactly the same as my '78 Pro I, if that's any help to you. I hope to see you out playing that sweetie! |
