I have everything moved into my new pc but am having trouble moving all the pictures. I found them in the files but when I try to open from the thumb drive the message says I need spiffyext.dll. Am I copying them from the wrong file? This is the Kodak Easy Share program. I looked in programs on the old pc and found Kodak. Any suggestions?

thanks, Ron

The pictures should be in the "My Pictures" or just "Pictures" folder in the My Documents folder (the usual places).

The pictures will probably either have .jpg or .bmp file extensions and those are the actual pictures. All my pictures that I imported and saved with the Kodak Easy Share program have img and a number; an example is img_0125.jpg look for files with similar names (assumuing you let Easy Share assign the name to the files).

The Kodak Easy Share program can't be copied, you will need to download the latest version from Kodak and install that.

I found them, thanks. They wouldn't fit on my 1 G thumb drive so I get a bigger one from my son.

Ron,
You could put them in folders of slightly less than 1g,copy/paste each folder til you get them all transferred. That's the way I do it.
