I have customers waiting on items to be mailed out and my computer has crashed. I don't have current email so I don't have addresses to send stuff to. Anyone waiting on something from me please email me so I can get your shipping address. I have this computer borrowed and all I can do is start from scratch. I hope mine can be fixed and retrieve all my information storned in it.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, I e-mailed mine. But if you can't access your E-mail account? Not sure how you're going to get it. Confused Best of luck with your computer.

Hey Jerry. I haven't received my u12 Dekley from you either. (I love em) If not, I'll just take an MSA millenium. ha!!!
I hope you can recover your list. It's always such a task to recover all the data. I have begun to back up all of my data on external hard drives since this has happened to me twice. I have two externals and am thinking about getting a third one. I look forward to seeing you in St. Louis.

Tech tip for y'all:

(First, sorry you had the disaster, Jerry, it especially hurts when all your business files are on your computer but not backed up).

Do daily incremental backups to external drives you keep local. That means copy everything on your computer's drive to an external backup up drive, then daily just add to it new files or files that have changed. Lots of software can easily take care of that for you in scheduled, automatic backups.

Weekly, do complete (at first, then incremental) backups to external drives you store offsite. If your entire computer and local backup drives get fried by a power storm, or stolen by a ne'er-do-well, you can be back up and running quickly.

I store my offsite backup drives in a big safe deposit box at my bank.

The old adage is: It's not IF your hard drive will fail, it's WHEN your hard drive will fail.

It's pretty easy to be protected, and heartbreaking and time-wasting to start over from zero.

You can probably google for how to do this simply on a PC or Mac. I'm a Mac expert, if you need more tips, holler.

I am back up and running. Jerry Stout, I am taking some time to do some upkeep on some of my guitars but will finish your Zum shortly after I get back from the St Louis show.
