Attaboy, Vern!!
I don't usually like listening to that old war horse, but you guys had a new take on it. Junior Adkins reminded me of George Barnes there for a minute.
Very well recorded too. |

Vern, that takes me back. A great arrangement. You may be interested to know that Walter is doing well and still playing. I gig with him once in a while.
Also Pete Oglesby from the old channel 9 days is doing good. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Thanks Guys,
Clyde I talked with Pete a few months ago. Glen Lanning (I think) gave me his number. We had a good time at WNCT_TV some fine folks there. Some days we were on 5 times.
I also worked with Hal Lemond in Atlanta, Ch 11 as a Director for a while in 1962. Adkins. Ferguson, Gardner have passed away.Don't know what happen to Roy Purkey. When Adkins and I left Ferguson,Buzz Evans was his Steel picker and they wound up in Las Vegas.
