I was wondering if someone could tell me how to wire a tone only on a lap steel. Only one pickup...and I use a volume pedal. Thank you A. J.

Run a wire from the hot lead on the output jack to the center terminal of a 250k linear potentiometer and then from one of the other terminals on the pot connect a .047 microfarad (or something close) capacitor then running to ground (even the ground terminal on the output jack should suffice). If it works in the opposite direction that you want it to simply put the capacitor on the other side of the pot. See this link if questions persist.
