That stage was changed a number of times wasn't it. That's the first good pic I've seen of that one. They just keep messing around with the stage. Must be something to do with business (and the bottom line)
Nice photo.....

The "stage" shown in that old pic is actually the long porch (or lanai) of the MOANA Hotel. It's been totally renovated, however the similarity is still there. It's the site of the famous banyan tree which is still there. I'm guessing, but back in 1950 I think Jules Ah See was probably the steel guitarist.

Til the mid/late 50s David Kelii was still the steel player, then Jules along with Barney Isaacs we're a dynamic duo on twin steels.
This could have been a rarer solo day for Jules.

Jules Ah See and Jake Keli’ikoa were the steel guitar players for Hawaii Calls from 1952 to 1958.

Jules Ah See and Barney Isaacs played for Hawaii Calls from 1959 to June 1960, when Jules died.

Concerning the photo, one cannot tell because it is shot at a distance. However, I took a magnifying glass and it does not look like Jules. I believe it to be Jake Keli’ikoa. Cool

Aloha, Smile
