can you get silk screen inlay for wooden necks i
think thats what they used in the how its made video

Buddy, The how its made video is with the Fulawka steel guitar.
Ed uses silk screening for the frets and markers on the neck. I am not sure what you mean by the inlay part. Ed's silk screening is the regular silk screen procedure.

Hi Buddy,

the inlays are glued to the neck and then lacquered over as they showed on the video, i've never heard of silkscreen inlays but... who knows it might exist. Oh Well Smile

The older lacquer MSA guitars used a silkscreen process for the fretboard, and looks like on the front also, don't know for sure,maybe as Pat said..

Bill's got it. It is the silk screen process plain and simple. Ya know, just like you silk screen T shirts

Bill.....We used the silk screen process on most all our wood body guitars. We used it on the necks and on the front of the guitars. After it was applied, It was of course then encapsulated with multiple coats of clear lacquer.
