Here's a Youtube video I ran across recently playing at a gospel festival with Rory Hoffman in 2006.

What's nice about this is that I did this show here in Pigeon Forge at a gospel concert in 2006. This was a couple of months before I had the stroke. I didn't even know Rory, but he had gotten my name from someone in Nashville as he wanted to add steel to his group for this concert. I didn't know this was on youtube until the other day when someone told me about it. Rory is really great and it was fun working with him. What's funny about this is that most of the so called country shows in this area won't use steel anymore as they think it is old fashioned or just a novelty instrument so to speak. I was booked to play a concert at a church in this area about a year ago and told that steel was old fashioned and the younger people wouldn't go for it, so I wasn't permitted to even play at a church. I guess I have a bad attitude but I never thought music would get that way. Also, I might mention that the fiddle player is named Gary Mackey and he was filling in too.

I only got to work with Rory the one time and I forgot how good he really is.
